Florida Lags in FAFSA Completion
" An estimated 59% of all Florida high school seniors qualified for Pell Grants, the 3rd highest in the nation. But despite the high number of Pell-eligible students, Florida ranks 35th in the nation for FAFSA completion. Last year, a little over 50% of Florida’s public-school students had completed the FAFSA by June 30, 2019.

According to FCAN estimates, high school graduates in Florida leave behind over $100 million in Pell Grants each year because they do not complete the form." (FCAN)
